Mura Masa’s debut album, Mura Masa, is an interesting combination of big-name features and minimalistic production.
If you’re a fan of some of Mura Masa’s previous work then this album is right up your alley. But the 21-year-old producer’s style of production is so specific that if you don’t like the first few songs, you’re not going to like anything on this album. For a debut album though this is put together quite nicely and Mura Masa has some seriously cool friends on here. Production is helped by the mysterious AK Paul and Gorillaz frontman Damon Albarn, and the album features A$AP Rocky, Nao, Charli XCX, Christine and the Queens, Desiigner, Jamie Lidell, Bonzai, and Tom Tripp. Check it out as one of our Best Albums of 2017 So Far.
