Big moods only.
Known for his dreamy sound and stories of love, Toro y Moi changes up the script just a little bit on his new record Outer Peace. Toro, who’s real name is Chaz Bear, picks up the pace on this album, utilizing a higher tempo, and also tends to focus more so on his identity than his relationships. The cover, with a warm pink and orange shadow cast across Toro and his setup provides the perfect precursor for the album to follow. With standout tracks like “Ordinary Pleasure”, “Freelance”, and “Monte Carlo (feat. WET)” and features from ABRA, WET and Instupendo, Outer Peace is for sure going to put you in a dream state.
