.Paak is back to doing what he does best.
Anderson .Paak just released Ventura, his second album in the last six months. Featuring André 3000, Smokey Robinson, Nate Dogg, Brandy, and produced by Dr. Dre, Ventura seemed destined for greatness — and I’d say it’s pretty damn great. Kicking right off with with the André feature before breaking into the sexy “Make It Better” the album jumps off to a quick start and carries that pace throughout the clean 39-minute run time.
A significant improvement from last year’s Oxnard, .Paak seems to have returned to form on Ventura, bringing back some of the more jazzy vibes that skyrocketed him to stardom after the release of Malibu. You can find “Come Home” and “Make It Better” on our Tasty! Jams for April.
