BROCKHAMPTON has shared their first new music since iridescence.
After announcing that they would be releasing an album titled GINGER this month the self-proclaimed boy band has shared some new music, their first since their 2018 album iridescence. BROCKHMAPTON open “I Been Born Again” with some unsettling whispers before paving the way for a slick Kevin Abstract verse. Abstract, the group’s leader, has already had quite the 2019, releasing several EP‘s and music videos that culminated in his solo album ARIZONA BABY. Additionally, Abstract and BROCKHAMPTON are largely responsible for the meteoric rise of Dominic Fike over the last few months, who was featured on Abstract’s solo album and featured on BROCKHAMPTON’s YouTube. Back on topic though, the video is recorded entirely in one shot and remains in black-and-white until the last few frames of the video. GINGER, the group’s upcoming album, is being billed as the first in a new trilogy of albums which may sound familiar as the band first grew in popularity with the release of their SATURATION trilogy. “I Been Born Again” also features verses from band members Merlyn Woods, Dom McLennon, Joba, and Matt Champion. You can find “I Been Born Again” on our Tasty! Jams playlists.
