Juice WRLD has died.
Juice WRLD, the superstar rapper with a long career ahead of him died early yesterday morning at the age of 21. Juice WRLD first broke out with the track “All Girls Are The Same” and then soon delivered the Billboard topping “Lucid Dreams.” His sophomore album Death Race for Love debuted at #1 earlier this year and Juice WRLD’s music, while dark in nature, became synonymous with success. The music itself was a raw blend of emo rap and rock that initially took SoundCloud by storm years ago and birthed a generation of rappers that seem to be leaving us way too quickly.
Lyrics from Juice WRLD’s 2018 track “Legends” have been making the rounds online because in the song Juice seems to predict his untimely passing.
“What’s the 27 Club? / We ain’t making it past 21”, he raps on the track. “They tell me I’m-a be a legend / I don’t want that title now / ‘Cause all the legends seem to die out / What the f*** is this about?”
